About the Tournament
Since 2008, Childress Klein and Beacon Partners have been hosting the renowned Six-on-Six Volleyball Classic, bringing together Charlotte’s commercial real estate community for some friendly competition and networking, while also doing good for the community! This charity fundraiser has been held all over Charlotte – from Renaissance Park to VBGB Beer Hall & Garden/Restaurant.
The best part? The rules are simple: each team only needs 6 to 8 players, and you get to play at least three matches! After that, the winning team is crowned, and the team with the most spirit and the most stylish gear both receive a shoutout! So, come on, what are you waiting for? Let’s serve up some fun and give back to Charlotte’s locally supported charities!
Player Registration
We are so excited to see you at our upcoming Six on Six Volleyball event. Registration begins at 10 AM, so don’t be late! As a reminder, please swing by the registration table to grab your cool player bag and confirm that we have received your waiver. We’ve got some awesome swag items sponsored by Yellowstone Landscape, Merriman Schmitt Architects, Edifice, CoStar, and The Conlan Company – trust us, you won’t want to miss out.

Ranger Construction is sponsoring lunch today from 11am-2pm, but if you’re feeling hungry outside of those hours, the bar and kitchen will also be open for additional food purchases. Just a reminder, the buffet is reserved for registered players, volunteers, and sponsors, so please let any extra players know to plan on buying lunch from the kitchen. We want to make sure everyone gets a chance to eat and has a great time!
After-Party
Get ready for the after-party of the year at VBGB! The fun kicks off at 4 pm and won’t stop until 7 pm. We’ve got you covered with free drinks and food courtesy of Horizon LED Energy Solutions during that time, so come hungry and thirsty. Plus, Roof Solutions Inc. is sponsoring free ride credits with Lyft, which you can find in your player bag that you’ll get at registration. Stick around, because we’ve got hours of fun, laughter, and good times planned.
Location
This year, we’re thrilled to announce that the Six on Six Volleyball Classic will be hosted at none other than the Sandbox @ VBGB Beer Hall and Garden (located in the Music Factory). You’ll be pleased to know that there’s ample parking available and the atmosphere is fantastic – not to mention the impressive 3 million lbs of sand that will make it an unforgettable tournament experience.
Parking
Parking is located in the VBGB/8.2.0 parking lot or across the street in the parking deck directly across from the sand courts. Special thanks to Shelco for being this year’s parking sponsor!
Please note that the parking garage at the Music Factory now only offers complimentary parking until 5pm. Upon arrival, please complete the information on the sign at your parking space. You will have to provide a credit card number. If you are leaving the property (VBGB or 8.2.0) after 5pm, the card you provide will be charged. VBGB will have a QR code available to validate your parking if you plan to stay for the after–party, which will reverse the charge.
IMPORTANT: If you are in a space and have not completed the information for your parking space (i.e. provided a credit card), you may receive a ticket or have your car booted if you stay after 5pm!
To avoid unwanted accidents, please make sure you don’t leave valuables in your car.
